Important Guidelines about Alaska PFD Direct Deposit

If you have selected Direct Deposit and answered “Yes” to Direct Deposit in your Alaska PFD Stimulus Check application, please read the following instructions carefully:

  • You can deposit your Alaska PFD Stimulus in any bank that allows and accepts ACH transactions.
  • Please contact your financial institution officer if you have any queries related to your account type, account number, or routing number.
  • Please note that the Direct Deposit Rules for every financial institution vary. Please check these rules of yours.
  • Check the Financial Institution’s Policy if your Direct Deposit Account, on which you request it, does not contain your name. 
  • It may take 30 days or more for the settlement of payments that any financial institution has rejected.
  • Please select the option “same account as last year” on your PFD application if you want to receive the Direct Deposit in the prior year’s bank account and want to use the same for now. Please do not enter bank information as well in this case. 

Please provide the bank information in the following scenarios:

  • If you are applying for the Alaska PFD Stimulus Check for the first time.
  • If you did not receive Direct Deposit last year.
  • You have turned 18 now and are completing the adult application for the PFD for the first time.

Note: Direct deposit updates will be accepted through August 31st for the mass payment, as well as one week prior to any of the monthly disbursement dates.

Important Instructions for Providing Bank Account and Bank Routing Number for Direct Deposit

Here are the important guidelines for Alaskans about the Routing Number, Account Number, and Check Number mentioned on their Alaska PFD Stimulus Check.

  • On the bottom of the Alaska Stimulus Check, the first set of 9 digits (starting from the left side) represents the ‘Routing Number.’
  • Next to the Routing Number, the second series of digits represents the ‘Account Number.’
  • The third and the last series of digits represents the ‘Check Number.’

Important Notes

  • Please contact your financial institution directly if you are unsure about your routing number or if it is misprinted.
  • While entering the account number, start from the left to the right side, without dashes or other special characters.
